The deposit: the first half of the fee, paid early

A deposit is the first half of the fee for your booking, paid in advance to confirm it. It is not an extra charge, a booking fee or a security held to one side and returned afterwards. It is simply half of the price, paid earlier than the other half, which is paid on arrival.

When it is asked for

Half the fee goes ahead on seven kinds of booking:

• the first booking any guest makes with the house;
• any booking made more than twenty-four hours before its start;
• every overnight;
• any booking with two therapists;
• any session of three hours or more;
• a hotel near Schiphol;
• any booking on a peak date, meaning King's Day, Pride, the Amsterdam Dance Event, Christmas to New Year, or a large conference week the house names when asked.

The one booking without a deposit is a returning guest asking for one or two hours later the same day, at an address in the city. That guest pays the whole fee on arrival.

How much, as a share

Half of whichever figure applies, and the proportion never shifts. Ninety minutes confirms with half its own fee, and so does every other length: two hours, the overnight block, and the doubled total that two therapists come to. No rounding ever comes into it, since every figure on the profiles divides cleanly in two.

How it is paid

By card in the usual case, or by Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency. Bank transfer and PayPal are not used, and cash cannot be a deposit, because a deposit is settled before she sets out and cash only changes hands in the room. Why it exists

An hour agreed with you is an hour taken out of her evening, and nothing else can be fitted into it. The deposit makes that commitment run both ways. With more than twenty-four hours of notice it returns in full; the entry on cancellation and refunds sets out every stage after that.
