One free move: changing the date without losing the deposit
A booking may move to another date once, free, if you ask over twenty-four hours ahead for a date within fourteen days. The deposit moves with it.
Travel plans shift, and long trips shift more than short ones. The one free move is the rule that allows for it: a booking may be moved to a different date once, without anything being kept, provided two conditions are met.
The two conditions
- The request reaches the thread more than twenty-four hours before the booked start.
- The new date falls within fourteen days of the original one.
With both satisfied, the deposit travels across to the new date intact, and nothing else changes. The figure is the same, the rules are the same, and if you named a therapist, the reply says whether she is free on the new date or who is.
A second move, or a late one
A second move, or any move asked for inside the final twenty-four hours, is read exactly as a cancellation written at that moment would be. Whatever the notice scale does not keep travels on to the new date. So a late move while she has not yet left keeps half the deposit and carries the other half forward; a move asked for once she is on her way keeps the whole deposit, unless the original hour is taken by someone else.
An example
A guest books two hours for a Thursday evening and pays half of the fee ahead. On Tuesday the weather forecast for Thursday is poor and a museum visit has to move. He writes asking for Saturday instead. That is more than a day ahead and within fourteen days, so his deposit moves to Saturday and nothing is kept.
What counts as your side
A cold, a change of plan, a dinner that ran late and a flight moved by an airline all count as changes on the guest side. They are handled as a move or a cancellation on the usual scale. Only something genuinely outside everyone's control turns the deposit into credit automatically. The booking terms give the full wording.
